I have always just followed what I was curious about. The process of making a photograph or creating a film is essentially the same. I pursue what I’m drawn to and ask questions later….or not.

Photography for me is generally about the light, and the fleeting “event” that I see occurring. You could say that I am addicted to the light. You can’t see it, but only its effects as it touches, changes and illuminates our world.

The process is just as important as the end result, because they are the same. I tend to photograph subjects that stand out and are not surrounded by a lot of chaos or busyness as I look to eliminate that in my own life. I hope you enjoy viewing them and are reminded how beautiful, diverse, and magical our world is.

With Arrangiarsi (pizza…and the art of living), I had Naples, a fascinating, historic, and vibrant city, with its crumbling beauty to inspire me; not to mention the pizza!

It turned out to be a delicious 10-year process indeed. I truly hope that you laugh, enjoy, and feel inspired by this film.
